BioSystem S.A.

BioSystem S.A. operates an end-of-life refrigerator recycling plant engineered and commissioned by URT in Kraków, Poland. The plant applies VHC selective recycling, processing only appliances with halogen-free blowing agents using a simplified gas treatment concept with direct hydrocarbon elimination. Specifically designed for large and heavy commercial cooling units, the facility handles up to 4 t/h.

Project Description

Biosystem S.A. operates an end-of-life refrigerator recycling plant engineered and commissioned by URT. The facility is designed for the treatment of household and commercial cooling devices under continuous industrial operating conditions.

The plant is configured for a processing capacity of up to 4 tonnes per hour. The process is based on VHC selective recycling. Only appliances containing halogen-free blowing agents are processed, allowing a simplified gas treatment concept with direct elimination of released hydrocarbons.

The plant is specifically designed for the processing of large and heavy commercial cooling units. The mechanical processing stage is adapted to handle bulky input materials such as supermarket and beverage cooling equipment.
