Project Description

GEM Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. operates a PCB recycling plant engineered and commissioned by URT. The facility is designed for the controlled preparation, representative sampling and thermal treatment of printed circuit boards under industrial operating conditions.

The plant is configured for a processing capacity of 3 tonnes per hour. The process combines progressive size reduction with controlled sample division using rotary dividers, enabling reproducible and representative analytical samples despite the heterogeneous composition of PCB material.

A key feature of the installation is the integration of a downstream pyrolysis process. Following mechanical preparation and sampling, the material is thermally treated to remove organic components and produce a high-grade metal concentrate suitable for direct smelting. The system is based on a closed-loop concept with internal energy utilisation.
