Project Description

Zhejiang Shengtang operates an end-of-life refrigerator recycling plant engineered and commissioned by URT. The facility is designed for the treatment of household and commercial cooling devices under continuous industrial operating conditions.

The plant is configured for a processing capacity of 4 tonnes per hour. The process is based on VHC selective recycling. Only appliances containing halogen-free blowing agents are processed. The selective treatment concept allows direct thermal treatment of released hydrocarbons and is designed for reduced operating complexity compared with recovery systems.

The plant was integrated into an existing production hall in which other equipment was already installed. The layout was therefore adapted to the structural conditions and interfaces of the site.
