Project Description

Kuusakoski Oy operates an end-of-life refrigerator recycling plant engineered and commissioned by URT. The facility is designed for the treatment of household and commercial cooling devices under continuous industrial operating conditions.

The plant is configured for a processing capacity of 4 tonnes per hour. The process is based on URT’s VHC and VFC recovery concept using activated carbon adsorption. This enables the controlled extraction and liquefaction of blowing agents and refrigerants, ensuring safe handling and efficient recovery.
