Project Description

NPO Aurus operates a PCB sampling and preparation for refining plant engineered and commissioned by URT. The facility is designed for the controlled preparation and representative sampling of printed circuit boards and cable fractions under industrial operating conditions.

The plant is configured for a processing capacity of 5 tonnes per hour. The process follows URT’s sampling concept based on progressive size reduction combined with controlled sample division. Printed circuit boards are processed through multiple comminution stages to achieve material homogenisation prior to sampling. Defined portions of the material stream are continuously separated using rotary tube dividers, enabling reproducible and representative analytical samples.

In addition to the sampling process, the plant integrates mechanical pre-treatment steps, including the removal of ferrous and aluminium fractions.
