Riwald Electronics Recycling GmbH
- Integration of an existing first-stage plantinto the URT process and plant logistics concept, with provision for futurecapacity expansion

Project Data
Project Description
Riwald Electronics Recycling GmbH operates an end-of-life refrigerator recycling plant engineered and commissioned by URT. The facility is configured for a processing capacity of 3 to 4 tonnes per hour, corresponding to approximately 80 to 100 units per hour.
The process is based on VHC selective recycling. Only appliances containing halogen-free blowing agents are processed. A robotic analysis system checks the insulating foam and automatically separates non-pentane appliances from the process stream. The foam is compacted via briquetting presses for volume reduction.
A particular feature of this installation is the integration of an existing first-stage plant into the URT process and plant logistics concept. This required close interface coordination and the technical integration of existing equipment into the overall plant layout.
